Assassin’s Creed Odyssey P.2

Alexios

Starting back where I left off, I’ve just completed the first Battle in Megaris where to fight along the Spartans. I caught myself at a low level when I first attempted it and failed multiple times. Luckily, the game is packed with Side Quest, Bulletins, and simply just exploring the vast area for Bandit Camps, and other areas under control. I’ve also took a step back and when through all the tabs in the menu and upgraded necessary weapons, armor, and ship items. Also took a look at Mercenaries that I’ll soon be running into.

Mercenaries

Following the 1st war of Megaris, you meet “The Wolf of Sparta” aka Nikolaos aka your father. When you confront him he remembers you and he explains he had to do what he did (throw you off a cliff) for a sake of Sparta. You get to decide weather you kill him and take revenge or ask for answers. I chose to look for answers, the answer I got was he is not your real father and if you want to know the truth you must seek out your mother.

Megaris

So before I decided to set sail again, I figured I would clear the map (Megaris) of any undiscovered areas and incomplete quests. I cleared camps , tombs, and forts unlocking newer inventory , abilities along the way. Abilities are separated in 3 classes Hunter (Archer) , Warrior (Weapon Master) , Assassin (Stealth). I’ve been riding between Warrior and Assassin too keep a good balance to the weapon power so, if I do get spotted and end up in a all out war.

Todays Treasures

Head to the Tomb of Alkathous, in the Valley of King Lelex. It will look to be a tomb with little loot, but if you look there is a path blocked. Hack that away and you will find yourself going further into the tomb.

Useful Tips at this Time
  • Choose your ability path and try to keep your weapons and armor attributes too boost your total stats.
  • Some quest are timed and it goes by real-time, so if you hit a bulletin board and swipe all the quests right before you go to bed just know that time will not stop. I got on and failed 2 quest due to time.
  • Parry as much as possible, when in the heat of battle with multiple enemies it can get intense but I noticed if you break and opponents attack it stuns others around and your follow up attack is powerful.
  • If an old man asks you for money, say yes! I didn’t and lost out on that quest.
